Things don't have to be perfect to keep a positive attitude. Things happen. Positive people get angry, they get hurt, they fight and claw for what they know in their hearts is right. Being positive doesn't mean pretending that everything is okay. Being positive is not giving up. Being positive means being accountable to yourself. When you feel tempted to reach for a less than healthy snack, don't beat yourself up or ignore the urge! Ask yourself: "do I want a snack?" or "do I need a snack?" Trust yourself to know the difference! If you need to eat, be strong in your choices and pick something that will nourish you over something that will give you a quick sugar fix. And remember, being and staying positive means forgiving yourself for making the wrong choice now and then! Trust, and have faith, in yourself to do the right thing in the future!
