    Time for planks and twists. You'll be holding these poses a little longer so take that time to work on waking up your whole body, don't just rely on those large muscle groups to do the work.

    In yoga, as in life, balance is key. While holding these postures for as long as you can, focus on setting your drishti, or gaze. Set your eyes, keep them focused, and breathe into that space.

    The first half of today's floor series focuses on using your whole body, front and back, to support the postures, putting everything you have into them. The second half, we want you to focus on softening into the posture, letting go and releasing into it.
